Climate and Nature Book Stall

Our volunteers raised over £200 at this stall, offering hundreds of good-quality books on climate and nature themes at very low prices. Any books that were not sold were taken to charity shops.

SHARE Oxford

We run a Library of Things and regular Repair Cafés in Oxford, helping people save money and waste less. We are excited about doing our bit to build the circular economy for the future, and our volunteers will be pleased to chat about what we do. We'll be bringing our badge maker to THRIVE Oxford, a fun example of what you can hire from us!

Climate Cafés Oxfordshire

Climate cafes are a safe space where people come and talk about their feelings about the climate crisis. The feedback we get is that people find them a helpful way to reflect on their often-complex feelings about the ecological crisis in a non-judgmental space, and that they are able to draw strength from their sense of solidarity with others around the table.

Replenish Oxfordshire

Over 70% of food waste happens in our households and global food waste accounts for three times more greenhouse gas emissions than flights. We can all take small, simple steps to reduce food waste. Replenish Oxfordshire helps people cook and grow nutritious food with zero waste. Come and see how we do this at TRIVE Oxford!

Cherwell Collective

We are raising awareness on the key themes of reducing waste, building community and saving our planet. Cherwell Collective emphasises social connection and engages the community to address the climate crisis. At THRIVE Oxford we will have a fun, interactive exhibition on fashion which looks at the real carbon costs involved in making clothes.

Helen's Local Honey

Bees prop up our ecosystems and pollinate many of our food crops. Helen’s Local Honey produces prize-winning small batch local Oxfordshire honeys. The observation hive of bees was a highlight at THRIVE Oxford, showing the co-operative world of the honeybee brood nest. We love to show the bees and help raise awareness of their needs.
